Ohio Political Strategist Emily Moreno Miller Joins Ohio Right to Life Board of Directors

Political strategist and daughter of 2024 U.S. Senate candidate Bernie Moreno, Emily Moreno Miller, joined the Ohio Right to Life Board of Directors.

Her new position comes just two months after her announcement that she was stepping down as executive chairman of the Cuyahoga County Republican Party.

Moreno Miller held the position, following the notice of resignation of executive committee chairman Henry F Curtis, for just three months before she resigned saying she “remains committed to bring politics back to the local level.”

According to the political strategist, it is an honor to join Ohio Right to Life in her new position on the board of directors.

“I am honored to join a leading pro-life organization in Ohio as we push to protect the unborn and uphold the dignity of the living. As a Board, we will continue to educate the public and encourage our elected leaders to pass laws that strengthen the protection of the unborn and mothers,” Moreno Miller said.

Moreno Miller is a native of Cuyahoga with vast campaign experience. Miller’s job as head of the Cuyahoga County GOP’s executive committee was to work closely with party donors, help appoint one of the two Republican members of the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections, and help county party chair Lisa Stickan recruit candidates.

Moreno Miller worked on a number of well-known campaigns before the Cuyahoga County GOP chose her as its executive chairman. She campaigned diligently to get pro-life advocates elected into office at the state and national level, including former President Donald Trump and Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). She also comes from a political family in Ohio.

The political strategist is the daughter of Republican businessman Bernie Moreno who is running for U.S. Senate against Ohio Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) in 2024.

She also married U.S. Representative Max Miller (R-OH-07) last year, and they are expecting their first child in November 2023.

Moreno Miller has been a vocal advocate of the need to protect Ohio’s children, including standing up against procedures and drugs intended to alter a minor child’s sex and against the proposed constitutional amendment to legalize abortion in the state.

According to Moreno Miller, everyone needs to vocalize their support of the right to life.

“An honor to be a part of one of Ohio’s leading organizations to fight for the unborn. All of us with a voice must be loud as we vocalize our opposition to the radical Democrats that advocate for abortion up to 9 months. Supporting life is not extreme,” Miller said.

Marshal Pitchford, chairman of Ohio Right to Life’s board of directors, said that Ohio Right to Life is honored to have such a passionate advocate for life join the board of directors.

According to Pitchford, Miller has proven her “dedication to the cause” and will be an “invaluable voice for the preborn.”
